Dokter Bamps Verzamelt Stadsmus Hasselt, 2016

After his death in 1907, the historic Limburgensia collection of Doctor Bamps became dispersed throughout Europe in various (private) collections and museums. A team from Stadsmus, guided by Jo Rombouts, traced part of this collection and their search led to the Bibliothèque National, Paris. The exhibition tells the story of this search and looks at the character of Doctor Bamps and his collection.
