Met de trein

The first passenger train in Belgium ran from Brussels to Mechelen in 1835. The exhibition Met de trein: 175 jaar sporentakes a look at this anniversary and is conceived as a virtual train journey. The story is told through train furniture, station interiors, paintings by Paul Delvaux, posters and films, as well as testimonials from (famous) train passengers.
