PHAI, 1983-1984

In the third year of the interior architecture course, we were given a scenography assignment: design a stand around a theme. I chose the abstract theme “communication” and designed two volumes that communicated with each other spatially. There was no fax machine, no internet, no mobile phone yet. Through the rounded walls, the voices of visitors flowed from one room to the next, just like the acoustic effect in Agamemnon’s tomb in Mycenae.
